Bottling info:

The Cane Jamaica Rum – Edition III marks a new level of sophistication for the series. Following the previous 14- and 15-year-old blends from multiple Jamaican distilleries, this release presents a carefully selected single cask from Long Pond, a 23-year-old pot still rum distilled in 2002. Created by Precious Liquors in collaboration with our German partners Kirsch Import and Flensburg Rum Company, this edition opens an exciting new chapter in The Cane’s exploration of Jamaican rum. Precious Drops is proud to be the exclusive UK distributor of The Cane Edition III, while distribution across continental Europe is handled by our German partners. A distinctive release for enthusiasts seeking depth, maturity, and unmistakable Jamaican character.

Tasting note:

Nose: Packed with overripe tropical fruit — mango, papaya and overripe bananas — all wrapped in a generous dose of bold chemical notes, with hints of acrylic and UV glue in the background.

Palate: Full and rich, with plenty of sweetness. Nuts linger in the background, joined by a delicate touch of cinnamon and notes of fruit cake. A layered, complex palate.

The finish: Long and intense, with a gentle honeyed character. Powerful chemical and ester notes keep shining through.

Ripe fruit and a soft honeyed sweetness linger on the palate long after the last sip.
