Introducing Long Pond VRW 2002
Our newest release is an exceptional Long Pond VRW 2002 to be bottled as 23 years old, matured in carefully selected ex-Cognac casks.
This bottling is the result of a collaboration between Precious Liquors, Kirsch Import and Oldman Spirits GmbH—three companies united by the same philosophy: selecting remarkable casks without compromise.
For collectors in the United Kingdom, we're delighted to confirm that Precious Drops will be the exclusive UK distributor of this extraordinary release.

Long Pond "Queen Nanny" VRW 2007 - 15 years old
Few Precious Liquors releases have generated as much affection in the United Kingdom as Queen Nanny.
Distilled in 2007 and bottled after 15 years of maturation, Queen Nanny captured everything enthusiasts admire about Long Pond. Bright tropical fruits, overripe pineapple, banana, citrus zest and gentle herbal notes intertwined beautifully with polished oak, vanilla and warming spices, creating a rum that was unmistakably Jamaican while remaining remarkably elegant.
Rather than showcasing sheer ester intensity alone, Queen Nanny demonstrated the incredible versatility of Long Pond's spirit. Complex yet wonderfully approachable, it appealed equally to experienced Jamaican rum enthusiasts and collectors discovering the distillery for the first time.
Its distinctive presentation, inspired by Jamaica's legendary Maroon heroine, made it instantly recognisable, but it was the quality of the liquid that truly established its reputation.
Today, Queen Nanny remains one of the most celebrated Precious Drops releases in the UK and continues to be highly sought after by collectors.
Long Pond 2001 — 21 Years Old
If Queen Nanny became the darling of the British market, our Long Pond 2001 earned admiration on a truly international scale.
Distilled in 2001 and matured for an impressive 21 years, this exceptional single cask was bottled at 51% ABV from Cask #6, producing just 268 bottles worldwide.
This bottling demonstrated just how graceful extended continental maturation can become when matched with outstanding distillate.
Rather than overwhelming with brute-force esters, the 2001 displayed remarkable sophistication. Layers of ripe pineapple, papaya, mango, marzipan and citrus oils merged effortlessly with elegant oak, delicate spices and an oily, luxurious texture.
It became one of the most refined Long Pond bottlings we've ever released and is still regarded by many collectors as one of the finest mature independent Long Pond expressions available.
Long Pond RX 2000 - The RumX Selection, A Modern Legend
Then came the bottle that changed everything.
When the opportunity arose to collaborate with RumX, the world's largest online rum community, expectations were understandably high.
The result was our Long Pond VRW 2005 - 19 years old, selected together with the RumX tasting panel.
The RumX bottling embraced everything enthusiasts love about the VRW marque. Explosive tropical fruit, grilled pineapple, ripe banana, coconut, vanilla, buttery pastry, caramel and Long Pond's unmistakable savoury complexity exploded from the glass, yet despite its formidable 64.6% ABV, the spirit remained astonishingly elegant and beautifully integrated.
Almost immediately after release, bottles disappeared across Europe.
What followed exceeded every expectation.
Collectors praised it as one of the finest modern Long Pond bottlings ever released, while reviews on RumX elevated it to legendary status. Today, it remains one of the highest-rated Precious Liquors bottlings on the platform and has become something of a benchmark against which newer VRW releases are inevitably compared.
